Minimal IDLE Incremental
MINIMAL HORDE is an idle horde game built around geometric shapes and layered progression.
Your hero fights automatically. Enemies spawn from the screen edges and drop coins matching their shape — circles drop CIR, triangles drop TRI, squares drop CUA, and so on. Every 500 meters a boss blocks your path until you take it down. The further you go, the tougher the enemies and the better the rewards.
16 HEROES, 16 WEAPONS
Each hero has a distinct weapon and playstyle. The Pistol fires precise single shots. The Shotgun sprays pellets in a wide fan. The Laser burns a continuous beam. The Orbital surrounds you with spinning spheres that block enemy fire. The Graviton creates gravity wells that pull enemies in. The Pulse emits expanding shockwaves.
Unlock heroes through achievements or buy them directly in the shop.
PROCEDURAL SKILL TREES
Every hero has its own infinite, procedurally generated skill tree. No two trees are identical — each run generates different node layouts, rarities, and branching paths. Spend the six coin types dropped by enemies to buy damage, crit chance, fire rate, elemental procs (burn, frost, shock, poison), defenses, and hero-exclusive upgrades.
PROGRESSION LAYERS
The game stacks several progression systems on top of each other:
HERO TREES — Procedural, infinite, unique per hero and per run.
LEVEL-UPS — Earn XP from kills. Each level lets you choose a bonus that applies to all heroes.
REBIRTH — Reset your progress in exchange for Rebirth Points. Spend them on a separate permanent skill tree with four branches: damage, resources, experience, and utility. These bonuses survive every future rebirth.
THE SHOP (ORO) — Golden enemies orbit through the battlefield and drop ORO. Spend it on permanent upgrades that persist through rebirths: hero-specific damage, starting drones, free tree nodes, or unlocking heroes early.
ACHIEVEMENTS — 27 achievements grant global damage and unlock new heroes.
MISSIONS — Rotating objectives that give coin rewards and keep progressing even with the tab closed.
OFFLINE PROGRESS — The game keeps running while you're away. Come back and collect.
Everything is black, white, red, and shapes. No loot boxes. No ads. No premium currency.
The numbers go up. That's the game.

Some minimalist gameplay, and a hint of critique ;)
What is going on with Pulso? It doesn't attack at all.
I imported the characters from another project I’ve published; I’ll review and patch them. I need to modify Pulso and Grabiton—thanks for the comment.😁
I saved up 12 oro for a -1 oro reroll but when I bought it I still have to pay 1 oro for reroll :(
If I forgot to raise the reroll price after testing—where the minimum is 1, but it goes up to 2 upon use unless you have the upgrade (which keeps it at 1)—I’ll fix it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Someone probably wrote this already: the skill tree is in spanish even though I selected english. seems there are a lot of english translations missing? interesting game though
Sorry, I added some content recently and forgot to check the English translations; sorry for the inconvenience.😅
Rebirth seems to perform a hard reset and does not provide the rebirth points (and shows the tutorial again, but changes language selection to Spanish). Might be enjoyable if rebirth is fixed.
The rebirth system only awards points when the combined level of your characters exceeds the highest accumulated level you've previously reached (e.g., a total of 5 levels = 5 points; then, a total of 6 levels = +1 point). It is true that the system is slow and needs improvement (something I'm already working on) but it isn't bugged.
UI says "You will gain 31 rebirth points." I Click REBIRTH!, it resets, interface has switched to Spanish, and I have 0 rebirth points to apply to the rebirth tree. This looks like a hard reset. Also, the game does not seem to save after closing. I do like the gameplay, interface, and graphics, but something seems broken on my build (Playing on Chrome).
not sure why this is happening, but i run into the same problem. it does not happen when i use the privacy mode on firefox
I'll look for the possible source of the problem, because it worries me quite a bit; if I find anything, I'll try to patch it.
Incognito mode in Chrome seems to work - retains the save and settings and allows Rebirth point distribution.
I also play on Chrome via itch.io to test it, as well as locally using Visual Studio, and I haven't run into that issue; plus, my game actually saves. Can you tell me a bit more about the error? I'm quite intrigued by the problem.
The game is interesting. The gameplay is intuitive. I was especially pleased with the design. All the graphics are very smooth and pleasant. The soundtrack is good.
Thank you so much! Reading good comments makes me want to keep updating the game 😊
I AM FASCINATED by this game! Not only is it addictive, but it is also spectacular. My high score is 300 and something (though I didn't have enough money to buy anything in the shop). It can be a bit boring at first, but then it gets interesting. I would say it feels like an "Endless" game. Even so, I think I noticed a few things:
Leaving all that aside, it's really cool! At least you included both English and Spanish, which is great because usually many developers only make their games in their native language or strictly in English because they think it will do better. Without a doubt, this is a game that deserves to be played more! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Your comment makes me really happy 😁
I know the pace is slow at first, but I was afraid of rushing the progression too much, and I think there are still plenty of things to polish. However, I played with a friend for hours yesterday and decided I wanted to publish it to get some feedback and see if people actually liked it.
Thanks for commenting😊
